Tuff Shed Bar Roundup

February 1, 2026|diy
Shamrocks on one side of the image and a Murphy bar on the other end that is unfolded and has bottles around and on top.

If you want to go where everybody knows your name, why not make a Tuff Shed bar in your backyard?

Rick’s Tuff Shed Sports Bar

Rick wanted to create a space he could use for storage and entertaining. He designed his Premier Ranch 10×16’ shed in his backyard to have a divider wall in the middle. That way, his bar’s “front of house” includes a counter, a working tap, and a fire pit on the patio for vibes. Behind all of that is plenty of room for storage.

Rick’s home bar was where friends and family gathered with nail-biting enthusiasm to watch the Nuggets win their first NBA championship. He told Tuff Shed it was a memory he’d carry with him for a long time.

Want to build a shed like Rick’s? Explore on our online configurator to get the perfect building, then add a tap kit that comes with a kegerator. Rick put a fridge behind the tap wall, drilled a hole through, and ran the kit’s tapline. Cheers!

Outdoor Murphy Bar

A Murphy bar folds open to create room to both create and enjoy cocktails—and when you’re done, tucks neatly back up against your Tuff Shed. It’s one of the easiest ways to set up a bar and hosting area in your backyard.

Read the full blog on how to build your own Murphy bar—there’s even a video DIY tutorial you can follow. While you’re at it, check out our whole DIY blog series.

The Perfect Murphy Bar Tuff Shed 02

Julie’s Brewery Barn

Julie started with a 10×12’ Premier PRO Tall Barn and then added double doors, extra windows, and skylights. The interior is finished with aesthetic corrugated tin and eye-catching antiques in the loft space—and plenty of extra room for storage.

She uses her Tuff Shed to brew her own beer. But the utility of her space doesn’t stop there: she also made room for crafting projects with her grandkids, space for gardening, and a shaded patio for entertaining just outside.

It’s the perfect place to make memories with family and friends with a homemade, ice-cold brew. We call that barn to the table.

You don’t have to go home, but you can’t stay here.

This concludes our St. Patrick’s Day Bar Roundup. We’ll be toasting to our amazing customers who transform our sheds into home bars, crafting studios, home renovation businesses, and so much more.

Feel free to give us a call or visit with any questions about customizing your own shed, barn, or garage.
