Rick’s DIY Backyard Sports Bar
Rick built his ultimate backyard DIY sports bar with the help from his local Denver Tuff Shed team.
Imagine this moment in your very own DIY backyard sports bar: It was June 12, 2023. The last quarter of the final NBA Championship game, with the Nuggets facing off against the Miami Heat. There were two minutes to go, with Miami in the lead by one point.
Rick and his friends—Nuggets fans—were crowded around the firepit, eyes glued to the TV in Rick’s custom DIY Sports Bar Tuff Shed.
The tension was palpable, the excitement electric.
Wait… let’s back up
Months before the Nuggets had their epic season, Rick and his wife wanted a space they where they could entertain guests and have extra storage.
Rick had seen the Tuff Shed sign on I-25 in Denver, and decided to walk in for a consultation. He sat down with a sales rep, and they custom-configured a shed that would work for Rick’s space right then and there.
Together, they added double doors on the front of the building that could be opened to reveal a TV. They added another door on the side, for a practical storage area that was hidden from view of the bar.
Just like Jokić, Rick is a man of action. He purchased that shed on the spot.
