Decades of expertise, a nationwide network of local factories, smart building design, and our dedicated team members make it possible for us to manufacture buildings based on customer design, then deliver the building components to the job site. Our efficient prefabrication process ensure that buildings arrive for install, backed by the reliability of our industry-leading warranties. At Tuff Shed, it’s our commitment to deliver high quality products and services to our customers.
While Tuff Shed handles the detail and hard work of manufacturing and installation, we need customer help with preparing the job site. Tuff Shed installers do not perform activities like trimming trees, digging into the ground or removing debris or pet waste in order to complete building installation.
For new buildings, installers will need to carry building components in large sections to the assembly/installation site. For delivery of a fully-assembled display building, the site will need to be accessible to a large tilt bed trailer. Customers need to advise us prior to scheduling installation if there are any obstacles that would prevent our installers from getting the materials/building to the installation site.
When choosing the location of the building, customer must take into account any overhead power lines or underground utilities that may be impacted by delivery/installation. Inform Tuff Shed in advance of any concerns, and mark all underground utilities, irrigation systems or septic tanks/drain fields. Most municipalities will help homeowners locate utilities.
It’s important that building are constructed on a level site. Tuff Shed installers do not dig into the ground, but they will level a building with concrete blocks and wood shims for a reasonable fee. Informing Tuff Shed of the condition and level of the installation site surface prior to installation day will help avoid delays.
