TUFF SHED to Open Four New Locations in California

November 29, 2013|press releases
The Tuff Shed logo is displayed over a series of engineering plans

These locations include new retail sales facilities in Goshen, Milpitas, Modesto, and Murrieta. Earlier this year, TUFF SHED relocated its Stockton factory to a new building. The moves are part of a concerted two-year effort by TUFF SHED. Accordingly, the goal is to improve its local production and sales facilities in the State of California.

Most recently, TUFF SHED opened its new sales facility in Murrieta. It’s just north of San Diego to better serve its growing customer base in the Temecula area. The company plans to showcase an extensive number of display models at this large lot. This facility is located just off Interstate 15 at 41034 Elm Street.  However, buildings for it will be fabricated at TUFF SHED’s San Diego factory.

In the central part of the state, the company opened a new sales location at 30460 Road 69 in Goshen during the second half of October. Customers wanting to visit this sales facility located just to the west of Visalia, should take Exit 99A off of CA-99.

Farther north, TUFF SHED opened a new sales facility in Modesto in early November and is on schedule to open another sales location in Milpitas the first week of December. The new sales lot in Modesto is located at 301 N. Washington Street Unit 2, approximately 30 miles south of Stockton. To visit this location, customers should take the Maze Blvd exit off of CA-99.

Opening December 2013

The new sales location in Milpitas is scheduled to open December 2, 2013 and is located at 931 Cadillac Court. This new sales facility, located approximately 10 miles north of San Jose, can be visited by taking Exit 10 off of Interstate 880 and will provide more convenient access for South Bay customers.

These new facilities increase TUFF SHED’s total number of company-owned, factory-direct locations in California to 20.  Including other area manufacturing and sales facilities in Sacramento, San Jose, Ontario, Stockton, Anaheim, Los Angeles, Santa Rosa, Fresno, San Diego and Bakersfield.

According to TUFF SHED’s Southwest Regional Manager Rob McCracken, the new locations are part of an overall effort. The goal is to meet TUFF SHED’s growing customer demand in the area.

“The opening of these new sales locations is part of an overall strategy to better serve our customers. Especially in our high density markets by filling in the gaps between our existing locations,” McCracken said. “By adding new locations throughout California, we are able to provide our customers with more convenience and hopefully expand our customer base in areas like Murrieta, where customers used to be forced to travel out of their way in order to visit a TUFF SHED location.”
