Introducing Our Newest Options

Looking for natural light in your shed? Look no further. We’re introducing a few new roof styles that add both light and style to our buildings. They’ve already made quite a splash as display buildings, but we think they’d look great in your backyard.

Introducing our new Dormer and Clerestory roof pitch options.

Newest Options: Clerestory

John Calhoon was an early adopter of our Clerestory building after seeing the display in Kansas City. He uses his new building, pictured above, as a storage shed. “I love all the windows,” says John, “I feel like all the stuff in my shed is safer with the high windows.” Natural light and security? Sounds like a good match.

Our Kansas City, KS location first started the clerestory trend with their custom display building for a home show. Originally styled as a She Shed, the building caught visitors eyes and their imaginations. With so many requests for the style, we decided it would make a great addition to our lineup.

Newest Options: Dormers

The new Dormer roof option is another great way to add natural light to your shed. This style has been most popular with our customers looking to add more light to a more traditional shed.

Karen Schroeder loves the way the Dormer roof adds an extra style component to her shed (our Dec. 2016 Building of the Month). “The potting shed just didn’t feel complete without them,” says Karen. “The interior is so much brighter and it looks so welcoming from the outside.”

Between the two styles, we can’t pick a favorite, but you sure can. Sound off in the comments and let us know which of our newest options you prefer; Clerestory or Dormer.
