A Custom Lean-To Backyard Office Built for Creative Work

The 8x16 Premier Lean-To was customized to make the ideal editing suite. His main request was to bring in French doors to add plenty of natural light into the suite. “They were really cool about letting me customize the lean to and make the changes I wanted.”

After the suite was installed, Steven and his family got to work finishing out the interior with electric, flooring, and drywall. The interior is filled with all the items Steven needs for a state of the art studio, including surround sound and an editing bay. On the exterior, Steven added a front porch for a welcoming entry to the suite. “We had a lot of fun putting it together” says Steven. “We ordered it on a Monday and it was built on a Thursday. With all the work on the interior, it was completely done in a two-week period.” Not bad for a custom home office.
