Cookie Mill’s Barn
Debbie George is the founder of Cookie Mill, an Arizona bakery that specializes in creative sugar cookies for marketing and special corporate events.
In 2019, Debbie sold her house and moved to Phoenix to take care of her mom. Fitting her life and business into her mother’s home was a challenge—but Cookie Mill’s barn added the extra space that made it possible.
Cookie Mill’s Barn is Anything but Cookie-Cutter
Debbie’s shed may house her impressive collection of over 5,000 cookie cutters—but the building itself isn’t cookie cutter at all. It’s customized to meet her specific needs.
Debbie paid a visit to a Tuff Shed showroom. There, she fell in love with Tuff Shed barns, and decided on a spacious Premier Tall Barn. She added a loft for extra storage—and a cozy place to take naps between fulfilling orders and dreaming up new designs.
Lots of natural light was also a must, so she added windows that she specifically placed for neighborly comfort, making sure they weren’t facing anyone’s property.
Tuff Shed allows you to bring us custom paint for your structure, but Debbie went the opposite direction. She opted to match her color to her shed! Then, for the extra added touch, she ordered extra shutters and flower boxes to put on the kitchen of the house for the ultimate matching effect.
