My purchase of a Tuff Shed was an exceptionally positive experience. I looked at sheds, with installation, at the big box stores and Costco and did internet research. All were similar. Neither awful nor particularly attractive as far as materials, construction, and cost. I found the Tuff Shed website. Costs for the various models and sizes were listed along with construction specs. A showroom was nearby so I stopped in, likely to buy a basic 8’ x 10 model. The sales person, Cross, was knowledgeable about all the materials and construction. He didn’t attempt to upsell me; he patiently answered my questions. The basic shed had wood for the base and floor joists (standard). Then I saw the other models with steel foundation and joists; reflective material on walls and ceiling; floor covering not bare OSB. Best of all the cost difference was minimal considering the upgraded materials (and warranty)! Cross explained the process and promptly sent the contract. (The contract itself was an unusual model of clarity. No fine print. Details laid out. Even color illustrations.) Cross kept me informed without being a pest. Installers came on time and did an efficient and excellent job. A very experienced and pleasant crew. I am more than satisfied with my Tuff Shed. Not even a whisper of Buyer’s Remorse. This could be my most satisfying significant (for me) purchase of the decade.
