I am very happy with my shed and the overall process. Craig has an excellent approach. No pressure sales but enough follow-up to demonstrate he cares about earning your business and ensured the logistics went smoothly. We had a great experience working with Craig at Tuff Shed. We went to the Palatine location with a general idea of what we wanted and a price range. Craig showed us the different options using the models on-site and the pros and cons of each. He was very honest when we asked him for recommendations on certain features and which things really matter and which are nice to have. He also worked with us to select the important features that would get us to our price range at the size we wanted. Craig provided very helpful guidance on navigating the application process through the village of Arlington Heights and gave us exactly what we needed to get our permit. His recommendation for a concrete contractor to pour the base of the structure worked out very well as he did a quality job at a reasonable price. We had no issues with it being poured or when the shed went in. Craig was always very responsive with other questions or updates on the project. Scheduling was easy and the workers put the shed up in just about 6 hours. We asked for one thing to be corrected on the shed and they had someone out within a day who took care of the ask in about 20 minutes. Overall, we're very happy with the process and the shed. We'd recommend Tuff Shed and Craig to anyone who is looking to put up a new shed.

I went with Tuff Shed because of the quality of the materials and because they back it up with a good warranty. In my case it is a 10 year. I got in touch with Craig and he was able to build me a mock up based on my needs. I wanted my shed to resemble a smaller version of my home. He sent me the mock up on June 4th and by June 5th, we had a deal. I took care of the permit with minor aid from Craig. But taking care of the permit is something they can do for you as well. I told Craig that I wanted my shed to sit on a concrete pad and he was able to recommend and get me in touch with a great subcontractor. Concrete got poured on June 26th and the shed was built shortly after on July 11th. The overall process took a little longer for me was because I wanted a concrete pad and because of my schedule. You may be able to get it done quicker if you choose not to get a concrete pad and if your schedule is more flexible. The shed turned out great! It is a 10’ x 12’. Take a look for yourself. I like the transom windows is the back to let light in, yet the wall can still be used to hang or store items. As I said earlier, I wanted the shed to match the home, and it does with same color roof, same color vinyl siding and white trim.
